Growing up in the business and learning from his father, Ted Hines, company founder, Joe is deeply invested in preserving the family-like atmosphere in all the Pine Companies. Joe earned his BS degree from Mercyhurst College focusing on Production and Supply Chain Management. He spent many years working for large and small manufacturers before returning to Pine in 2002. He resides in Grove City, PA with his wife and two sons.
Joining the Pine Instrument Company in 1995, John became responsible for the accounting and finance functions of Pine Instrument Company and all affiliates upon the retirement of founding member, Gloria Hines. Jon has a BA Degree from Cornell University and acquired his CPA certification in 1983. In 2006, Jon was appointed to Company Treasurer. When not at work, Jon enjoys the theater, reading and music. He and his wife reside in Grove City, PA.
Pine Electronics, Inc. - Principal Engineer
With decades of service to Pine, Ed has worn many hats over the years. Today, Ed oversees the team of engineers and all new product development initiatives. A staple within the Grove City community, Ed has served on numerous charitable boards. Known to shoot a few hoops, Ed is a former assistant High School Basketball coach and enjoys a pick-up game whenever the opportunity arises. Berti earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Grove City College. He and his wife live in Mercer, Pennsylvania.
Director of Information Systems
Joining the Pine family in 1981, Ralph DiLuigi is one of the original developers of Pine's proprietary ERP system, PICAM, that has effectively supported the company's growth since the early 1980's. DiLuigi left the company in 1994 to concentrate on his consulting company, returning in 2011. Today, Ralph oversees the IT Department assuring that the technical needs are met company-wide. A former Township Supervisor, he enjoys playing recreational volleyball and softball. Earning his BS in Computer Science from the University of Pittsburgh, Ralph was a two year letter earner on Pitt's Track & Field Team. He and his wife reside in Zelienople, Pennsylvania.
Human Resource Manager
Our Chief Talent Officer, Robin joined the Pine family in 2006 and the company hasn't stopped growing since. With more than 20 years of HR experience, Robin is a Human Resource Generalist with a keen instinct for recruiting employees that will be successful in Pine’s culture. She earned her BS in Human Resources from Empire State College. An advocate of healthy eating and living, she's often found offering tips and recipes throughout. Robin enjoys reading, exercising and spending time with her beautiful grandchildren. She and her husband live in Fredonia, Pennsylvania.
Facilities and Environmental Manager
Joining Pine in 2006, Dick brings decades of facilities and environmental expertise to the group. He oversees a skilled team that maintains the machinery, equipment and the facilities at Pine’s locations. Committed to safety, Dick directs the safety committee that meets regularly assuring a safe and ergonomic work environment. When Dick is not at work, you'll find him enjoying the adventure of fishing, hunting, and archery. Dick and his wife have two sons. They reside in Clarks Mills, PA.
Communications and Media Manager
Amy became part of the Pine family in 2015. She brings a healthy history of sales and marketing experience with manufacturers and non-profit organizations. A media strategist, Amy is responsible for developing a comprehensive marketing plan for the Pine companies. She earned a BS in Business Administration from Slippery Rock University and MBA from Gannon University. Having run a few half marathons, she enjoys a good challenge, exercise, and spending time with friends and family. Amy and her husband live in Mercer, Pennsylvania.
